The Kitab Girls & Women Leadership Camp 2025

At Kitab, we believe that empowering young women begins with knowledge, confidence, and community. This camp is more than just a program — it is a transformative platform where 25 young women from across the African continent can explore their rights, responsibilities, and potential in professional, familial, and social spheres.

Through an 8-week journey of self-discovery and empowerment, participants will connect with inspiring women leaders, engage in workshops, and gain practical tools to thrive in today’s world.

Our program combines reading, learning, mentorship, and skills-building to equip participants with:

• Leadership development — strengthening confidence, communication, and public speaking.

• Professional growth — crafting strong CVs, mastering digital tools, and preparing for career opportunities.

• Financial literacy — understanding personal finance and building budgeting habits for long-term independence.

• Health & wellness — learning to balance life, work, and self-care.

• Advocacy & engagement — developing the courage and skills to speak up and drive meaningful change in their communities.

The camp experience culminates with each participant creating a personal video reflection on her journey. These stories now enrich Kitab’s growing platform of youth voices, leadership, and inspiration.
