On June 28, 2025, in Ouagadougou, I had the immense honor of co-hosting the conference “Youth and the Power to Act”, organized by Leading Change in partnership with Kitab at ISGE, alongside two inspiring speakers: Ousmane Kabré and Hugues Gouba.
It was far more than just a conference: it was an intense morning filled with the contagious energy of over 135 young Burkinabè — present, attentive, curious, and fully engaged. Through our discussions, shared experiences, and interactive sessions, I was deeply moved by their thirst for knowledge, their clarity of vision, and their determination to build a better future.
For my part, I had the pleasure of leading a session on the essential qualities for a successful professional integration. This is a theme close to my heart, because I am convinced that every young person carries within them a unique potential waiting to be revealed — often, all it takes is the right environment, a mentor, or an opportunity for a spark to turn into a flame.
🙏 My sincere thanks to ISGE for the warm welcome, to my co-panelists for their insightful contributions, and above all to the Kitab team and all the young participants for their energy, authenticity, and commitment.
Spaces like this remind us that change is built together — through dialogue, sharing, and action.
I look forward to many more encounters filled with hope ✨And to those who attended: I’d love to hear your reflections 💬👇
